One person died and two were seriously injured when a car drove into a roadside truck in the direction of Győr. M1 motorway was closed for several hours.
Two vehicles collided on the M1 motorway on the side leading to Győr, at the 90-kilometer section, on Friday around 7:50 a.m. – the Komárom-Esztergom County Police Headquarters reported on Police.hu.
The cause of the accident is unknown, the wrecked vehicles occupied the traffic lanes, so the affected section was closed for several hours. One person died in the accident.
Near the settlement of Ács, a car collided with a roadside inspection truck for an unknown reason. The car’s 38-year-old driver was killed in the accident, and the woman sitting next to him and the truck driver were also seriously injured.
